| According to the MSHDA Website Michigan received $15 million for the Homebuyer Assistance program. It is designed to help first time homebuyers purchase a principal residence. Military homebuyers may qualify for grants of up to $5000, and non-military may qualify for grants of up to $3000. Additional details can be found at the MSHDA Website.
